We invite you to a Master class, on May 13th. This master class is given by prof Clemens Hosman, and he will take us trough the development of the field.
Professor Hosman is known in Europe as the man of promotion of mental health and the prevention of mental illness. He is a consultant of WHO and has written a number of books i the mental health field. We are proud to have him to do this master class and also as a member of the scientific committee for the whole conference.
Clemens M.H. Hosman (PhD) is emeritus professor of mental health prevention and prevention at the Maastricht University and Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands and visiting professor at several European universities.
He was senior prevention consultant to WHO, international NGO’s and to mental health and public health centres in multiple countries. Currently he is senior consultant to city governments on the innovation of their youth policies and programmes, effect & impact management, and on improving the health and social perspectives of children upgrowing in poverty.
For over 30 years he has been involved in prevention research and programme development focused on children and families dealing with parental mental illness. His current research and consultancy is especially focused at the challenge to create integral programmes, policies and implementation strategies that have the potential to achieve public impact and could improve the lives of large populations of vulnerable children.
